Dr. Michael Bischof
Michael is Founder and President of SOULeader Resources, and uses his experience incarnationally through coaching, consulting, training, and writing. His passion is self-awareness and integration of all the dimensions of the person and how this impacts leadership. Born and raised in Southern California, Michael has spent over 30 years pastoring and leading in eight churches and three para-church organizations. He is also an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Christian Spirituality at Fuller Theological Seminary and Adjunct Professor at Azusa Pacific University. He has been married to Darlene for over 30 years and has two grown children. His hobbies are reading, travel, snowboarding, and cycling. The Bischofs live in Foothill Ranch, CA.
Neil R. Anderson
Neil is the Director of Thrive Ministry Leadership Residency, a pastor to pastors with Standing Stone Ministry, and an ordained minister with over 20 years of ministry experience. His passion is to support, mentor, and coach pastors and Christian leaders in 1-on-1 and small group/team settings, with an emphasis on holistic approaches to their personal, spiritual, and vocational needs. Neil is a graduate of Biola University and Talbot School of Theology, and has worked as a pastor, teacher, and ministry director in various churches and non-profits. He formerly served 10 years as the Senior/Lead Pastor of Coast Bible Church in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Neil and his wife, Casey, reside in Knoxville, TN with their three kids.
Nicole is a disciple of Christ who is led by curiosity and creativity. As the wife of a pastor, mother to three school aged children, and an elementary reading specialist in the public school system, she is connected to her local community and committed to modeling and encouraging discipleship and spiritual formation in many relational contexts. Nicole is an avid reader and writer, enjoys a variety of handcrafts, and spending time in nature.
In 2002, Kevin and his friends started Solidarity, a faith-based non-profit that walks with Latino immigrant families from under-resourced neighborhoods in Fullerton, CA. As a founding member of Solidarity, Kev experienced the organization transform from a grassroots community of friends trying to "do good," into a million dollar non-profit organization. In 2018, he stepped into the role of Executive Director and is moving the organization to develop neighborhood leaders to affect equity within the city. Through his time at Solidarity, Kev has come to realize what a true gift his neighborhoods, the Latino culture, and the immigrant's experience are to his own spiritual growth. He credits the neighborhood to widening his capacity to love, to cherish his own ethnic culture, expanding his inclusivity, and to start to grasp a more dignifying understanding of God's Kingdom.
Paul is the CFO of SOULeader, and has spent nearly twenty years in management positions in the aerospace industry and is currently Vice President of his company. He has an MBA with a concentration in Leadership and Organization from the USC Marshall School of Business and has served in numerous servant and leadership roles in his church and other non-profit organizations. Paul has successfully completed three Ironman competitions. He is married to Ashley, has three boys, and lives in Mission Viejo, CA.
John is a bi-vocational minister who has served as a teaching pastor, young adult pastor and leader of short-term missions, while at the same time practicing law with a focus on software, technology and entrepreneurial companies. John taught as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University School of Law for 17 years and in the MBA program at Azusa Pacific University for 10 years. He is married to Lina and they have one daughter, Christine, who is in elementary school. They live in Azusa, CA.
Jim Wern is first and foremost a God-follower. He also enjoys his roles as husband, father, friend, executive director of Emersion Life, and amateur cook. He has served as children's pastor, youth pastor, career adult pastor and outreach pastor in various churches for the last 35 years and is currently leading a house church in the San Gabriel Valley. For the last three years, Jim has been journeying with 40 pastors in Africa into deeper connection with Christ and others. The day jobs that enable him to do ministry are with a property management company and the Home Depot. Jim has been married to Donna for 35 years and has four adult children.
