Dr. Mitch Hopkins graduated with honors from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1988, and since then has been strongly involved in both private practice and academia. He has taught for Daytona Beach Community College, the University of Hawaii, and currently teaches the sciences at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa. During his time practicing as a chiropractor he traveled extensively, working with some of the most prominent alternative specialists of the time, and his research and experience made him highly specialized in corrective muscular and mechanical imbalances.

Dr. Hopkins retired as a chiropractor in early 2000 in order to devote more time to the study of biomechanics and correctional needs of athletes, and to delve more deeply into the nutritional requirements for optimal athletic performance. His technique of combining corrective muscle balance with individualized nutritional programs has brought about significant improvements in both performance and recovery.

Dr. Hopkins has appeared on KDOC, OCN, and The Discovery Channel, where he was interviewed on his methodologies and treatments of ADD/ADHD, Nutrition, and Brain Rhythm Function. He has had numerous radio educational show appearances, articles written about him in newspapers and alternative medicine magazines, and has authored multiple condition-specific educational articles published by Wellness Today and Alternative Medicine Magazine used by practicing physicians for patient education.
